Taj Garden Retreat
Varkala provide various facilities and services like travel desk, currency exchange,
safe deposit lockers and doctor-on-call, Sowparnika - Green Leaf certified Ayurvedic
Centre, Jacuzzi and steam. For recreation the resort offers swimming pool with
a sunken bar, a children's wading pool and playground, table tennis, volleyball,
tennis, and badminton courts and indoors games. Backwater cruises on country boats
or motorboats, trips to the beaches and cliff (ideal place for sunset viewing
and photography), temple visits and day trips to Cape Camorin (Kanyakumari).
- Meeting room and Banquet Facilities: One room with a capacity
for 30 in theatre-style, 40 persons for cocktail parties/receptions, 20 persons
in U-shape/class-room style.
Lawn: for 100-pax informal parties/dinning.
- Restaurants and Bars:
Cape Comorin: The multi-cuisine
restaurant serves Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisine and Indian and foreign
spirits. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bar open from 11 am to 11 pm.
Sunset Bar: A bar at the Lobby Lounge overlooks the swimming pool and with a breathtaking
view of the Arabian Sea, serves snacks and beverages including Indian foreign,
spirits and wines. Open from 5 pm to 7:30 pm.
